Sealed Bids for the construction of the Buffalo Water Tank Rehabilitation will be received, by the Town of� Christiansburg at the office of the Procurement Officer at 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073, until�

3:00 pm local time on June 17, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project� consists of rehabilitation of a 1.5 MG ground water storage tank, including structural roof repairs, ventilation improvements, addition of a new 36” manhole, repainting, valve replacement, addition of a mixing system, and all�

associated appurtenances. A deductive alternate consists of the use of an alternative paint system for interior� repainting. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.� Bids shall be on a unit price basis.�

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Hurt & Proffitt, Inc, 1861 Pratt Drive, Suite 1100 Blacksburg, VA� 24060, Attn. Matt Gross, PE (mgross@handp.com), 540-552-5592. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM-5:00 PM and may obtain� copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.�

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the Issuing Office upon nonrefundable payment of $200 for� each 22 x 34 set, $100 for each 11 x 17 set, or downloaded free of charge at http://www.handp.com/bid-info.� �

A pre-bid conference will be held at 3:00 PM local time on May 27, 2025 at the Christiansburg Town Hall, Admin Conference Room, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. To join the meeting virtually, please request an invite from mgross@handp.com ahead of the meeting.�

If bids are hand delivered or mailed, they must be delivered to the Town of Christiansburg Purchasing Office,100 East� Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. It is the bidder’s responsibility to confirm that all bids are received by the Town’s Procurement Officer prior to the time stated above.� Sealed bids should returned in a sealed envelope clearly�

marked. “Bid Response for IFB 255000020, Buffalo Water Tank Rehabilitation” and addressed to Tara Vance,� Procurement Officer.� The bidder’s name should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.� � To submit an online bid through eVA, refer to the online bidding instructions available at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSxcAkOekW0. In order to submit an online bid through eVA the Bidder should be a registered vendor in eVA.� The Town is not responsible for establishing vendors in eVA.� Bidders are advised that the process of becoming an established vendor in eVA may take several days.� If the Bidder encounters any issues�

The procedure for withdrawal of bids shall be in accordance with procedure (i) of Section 2.2 - 4330 of the Code of� Virginia�
