Sealed Bids for the Gateway Old Town Connector Forcemain project (the “Project”) in Amherst County,� VA will be received by Amherst County Service Authority (the “Owner”) at 113 Phelps Road, Madison Heights, VA 24572 until 2:00 P.M. local prevailing time on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Bids will be opened publicly at that time and read aloud.� Results will be tabulated and provided to all bidders.� �

In addition, sealed bids can be received electronically through eVA. Bids should be submitted as a PDF� electronically through eVA’s procurement portal. This portal allows you access to view business opportunities and submit bids and proposals digitally and securely. Bids can be submitted electronically at: https://eva.virginia.gov/. Attachments must be smaller than 10MB in order to be received by eVA. If Working papers are submitted, they should be a separate PDF and labeled clearly.� �

transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory� replacement/rehabilitation of public utilities for the Amherst County Service Authority (the “Owner”) as described in the plans. This project consists of the construction of approximately 1,800 LF of sanitary�

sewer forcemain and approximately 100 LF of gravity sewer within the right-of-way of Route 210. The� work includes installing the forcemain and gravity sewer and other appurtenances along with all associated erosion control measures as shown on the plans and in the technical specifications.�

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to� register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from� sources other than the designated website.�
